The community garden is an ImpactSix event which plants, grows and harvests over 8,000 pounds of food a year that is given away to local charities. The garden is located on C3’s 47 acre plot of land along Wheeling Creek. During the summer months individuals and groups help in many ways to keep the Garden clean, watered, and harvested. We would love for you to help this ministry.

Early Spring Planting
Many thanks to Steve Smith, Jim Hayhurst, Eric Jack, and all who participated in the Early Spring Planting. Over 800 cole crop where planted. The terms "cold" and "cole" sound the same but have different meanings. "Cold" of course refers to temperature. "Cole" refers to any of various plants belonging to the Cruciferae or mustard family. The mustard family includes cool season crops such as Brussels sprout, cabbage, cauliflower, collards, kale, kohlrabi, mustard, broccoli, turnips and watercress.
